Kids Playing Midwife

So, the midwife’s children are playing midwife. They have flipped their trampoline upside down to be a (not very deep) birth tub. Naomi is giving birth to one of her dolls. Hosanna is supporting the baby’s head. And Isaiah… well, Isaiah is brandishing a dirk and dressed like someone out of Last of the Mohicans. At first I thought he was going to do a little child sacrifice, but he assured me that it was to cut the cord. His mother would no doubt tell him to cool his heels until the baby has been out for a while, and not to hurry to snip. Oh, and trade that frightful knife for a pair of cord-cutting scissors.
