Bizarre Baby Noise

Hosanna is a sweet toddler, but she makes a very strange little noise, sometimes for long minutes at a time. Here it is:

I’m not sure if she is imitating her brothers as they drive toy cars around the floor, or imitating the phone’s ring. She makes this noise most often when sitting in her carseat. Some members of the family are unable to reproduce it with their own tongues. It appears from visual inspection that it is a genuine trilling with her tongue on her palate.

  1. I would bet money that the sound being reproduced is a “Matchbox sound.” Think about it: where does she spend large portions of time? On the floor. Where is the matchbox domain? On the floor. Thanks to Isaiah and Ezekiel for this phonic phenomenon. Top Dudette!
